Bali, Indonesia. May 10, 2025 – Assistant Professor Rungpetch Sakulbumrungsil, President of the FAPA College of Pharmacy (FAPA-CP), together with FAPA-CP executives, convened a strategic meeting with the FAPA-CP Indonesia Chapter, led by Mr. Noffendri, President of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI). Held in Bali, the meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration in the region's professional education, digital learning, and pharmacist certification.
The discussion focused on analyzing survey results to identify high-demand course topics, suitable durations, and participant interest in Coursera-based learning. The team explored short course development models and selected pilot topics for implementation, including teaching plans and structural design. Plans were also made to integrate Coursera modules into the second batch of the Fellow of FAPA CP (FACP).
In addition, the group outlined strategies for Coursera platform management, university engagement, course accreditation, and student certification opportunities. The meeting concluded with open discussions and a proposed timeline for the next online meeting to follow up on implementation progress.
This meeting marked a significant step forward in aligning pharmacy education and professional development across the FAPA-CP network in Asia, reinforcing the shared vision of advancing pharmaceutical practice through regional cooperation and innovation.
