 The Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage (PAT), established in 1929, stands as the premier and oldest professional organization representing the unified voice of pharmacists across the kingdom. As a central hub for the profession, PAT connects practitioners from diverse sectors—including hospital, community, industrial, and academic pharmacy—to advance pharmaceutical sciences, uphold rigorous ethical standards, and ensure the continuous professional development of its members. The association plays a pivotal role in shaping national health policies and medication safety standards while simultaneously elevating the Thai pharmacy profession on the global stage through its active membership and leadership within the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) and the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP).

The FAPA College of Pharmacy (FAPA-CP) Thailand Chapter is now inviting applications from distinguished pharmacists for the prestigious Fellowship of FAPA College of Pharmacy (FACP). This fellowship recognizes practitioners with exceptional qualifications and a strong, demonstrated commitment to advancing pharmacy practice.

Two pathways are available for applicants: Pathway A for those who have completed FAPA CP-accredited Equivalent Training Programs, and Pathway B for licensed pharmacists with at least 10 years of experience who have not completed such training. The deadline for all submissions is December 25, 2025.

FAPA-CP organized a forum to present certificates to four colleges under the Pharmacy Council of Thailand. This noteworthy event took place during the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage. The primary aim of this ceremony was to officially recognize that the Fellowship Training Program offered by these four colleges meet the standards equivalent to The Fellowship of FAPA CP (FACP). Graduates from these programs are acknowledged as qualified candidates for FACP. With the addition of these four colleges, a total of six colleges under the Pharmacy Council are now certified.

The six colleges with their training programs certified as equivalent to The Fellowship of FAPA CP (FACP) include:

1. The College of Pharmacotherapy of Thailand
2. The College of Pharmaceutical and Health Consumer Protection of Thailand
3. The College of Herbal Pharmacy of Thailand
4. The College of Industrial Pharmacy of Thailand
5. The College of Community Pharmacy of Thailand
6. The College of Pharmacy Administration of Thailand

This certification underscores the exceptional quality maintained by these institutions and reflects their dedication to providing outstanding pharmaceutical education. It assures that graduates are well-equipped to make meaningful contributions to the field of pharmacy.
