Appointment of the Inaugural President FAPA College of Pharmacy Philippine Chapter
BANGKOK, March 2, 2029
The FAPA College of Pharmacy (FAPA-CP) is pleased to announce the appointment of
Professor Aleth Therese L. Dacanay
as the Inaugural President of the FAPA College of Pharmacy (FAPA-CP), Philippine
Chapter, for a four-year term commencing March 2, 2026 and concluding March 1, 2030.
This appointment was made pursuant to the resolution of the FAPA College of Pharmacy
Executive Committee adopted during its meeting held on February 26, 2026.
As Inaugural President, Professor Dacanay will provide strategic leadership in strengthening the
Chapter’s academic initiatives, fostering professional engagement, and enhancing collaboration
within the broader FAPA network.
Her appointment marks an important milestone in the development of the Philippine Chapter and
reinforces FAPA-CP’s commitment to advancing excellence in pharmacy practice, education,
and professional leadership.

CONFERMENT OF HONORARY FELLOW FAPA College of Pharmacy Indonesia

The FAPA College of Pharmacy (FAPA-CP) is pleased to announce the conferment of the
distinguished title of Honorary Fellow of the FAPA College of Pharmacy (FACP) upon
Professor Aleth Therese L. Dacanay, Ph.D.
President, Philippine Pharmacists Association
This conferment was approved by unanimous decision of the FAPA College of Pharmacy Executive
Committee at its meeting held on February 26, 2026, in recognition of her exemplary leadership and
outstanding contributions to the advancement of pharmacy education and professional development
in the Philippines and across Asia. Her visionary efforts have significantly strengthened the
profession and inspired meaningful progress within the regional pharmacy community.
The formal conferment ceremony will take place during the FAPA-CP Session on November 6,
2026, in Bangkok, Thailand, held in conjunction with the 31st FAPA Congress 2026.
The FAPA College of Pharmacy extends its sincere congratulations and looks forward to formally
recognizing her distinguished contributions during this significant occasion.

This appointment was made pursuant to the resolution of the FAPA College of Pharmacy
Executive Committee adopted during its meeting held on February 26, 2026.
As Inaugural President, Mr. Kristianto will provide strategic leadership in strengthening the
Chapter’s academic initiatives, fostering professional engagement, and enhancing collaboration
within the broader FAPA network.
His appointment marks an important milestone in the development of the Indonesia Chapter and
reinforces FAPA-CP’s commitment to advancing excellence in pharmacy practice, education,
and professional leadership.

The Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations College of Pharmacy (FAPA-CP) is pleased to announce that the Executive Board has officially approved the results of the evaluation process as of February 26, 2026.
The following pharmacists have successfully fulfilled all requirements and are hereby conferred the title of Founder Fellow of the FAPA College of Pharmacy (FACP) under the FAPA CP Philippine Chapter for the year 2026.

under the Thailand Chapter (Pathway B) are hereby qualified to proceed to the next stage of evaluation which consists of a professional project presentation and interview.
FAPA-CP and FAPA-CP Philippine Chapters Strengthen Regional Ties

Dr.Rungpetch Sakulbumrungsil, along with the executive team of FAPA-CP Thailand, officially welcomed Prof.Aleth Therese L. Dacanay, President of Philippine Pharmacists Association Inc. along with the executive delegation from FAPA-CP Philippines during a high-level strategic meeting held at The Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand.
The morning session focused on the expansion of the FAPA-CP Fellowship initiatives. Key discussions included the strategic "Call for FAPA-CP Philippine Fellows" and the comprehensive development of the FAPA-CP Philippine Roadmap. Both parties explored diverse collaboration opportunities aimed at elevating the standards of professional recognition for pharmacists across the region.
In the afternoon, the dialogue shifted toward digital transformation and educational synergy. FAPA-CP Thailand and FAPA-CP Philippines engaged in a productive session regarding the co-development and co-branding of the Digital Pharmacy Certificate Program. This landmark partnership will involve:

2) Regional Participation: Leveraging FAPA member organizations to ensure broad engagement.
