The Indonesian Pharmacists Association, Ikatan Apoker Indonesia (IAI), is the primary professional organization for pharmacists in Indonesia, responsible for setting standards and enhancing professional competencies nationwide. With a vision to elevate pharmaceutical care, particularly in community pharmacy, to international standards, IAI recognized the importance of joining a regional professional network.

To formalize the collaboration, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI) and FAPA-CP, with the following key objectives:
1. Standard Adoption: IAI agrees to adopt the FAPA-CP competency framework to develop continuing education programs for community pharmacists in Indonesia.
2. Ch

2. Chapter Establishment: FAPA-CP officially endorses the establishment of the "FAPA-CP Indonesia Chapter," with IAI serving as the main coordinator.
3. Professional Development: Both parties will collaborate on training, seminars, and activities to equip Indonesian pharmacists to meet FAPA-CP standards and achieve certification.
4. Knowledge Exchange: The partnership will create a network for Indonesian pharmacists to exchange experiences and knowledge with peers from other member countries in Asia.
This MoU marks a significant step, demonstrating IAI's commitment to advancing the pharmacy profession and opening doors for Indonesian pharmacists to gain international recognition.
