BANGKOK, February 6, 2025 - FAPA CP President Dr. Rungpetch Sakulbumrungsil and executives conduct meeting with FAPA CP Indonesia chapter executives lead by 

Mr. Noffendri, President of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association (IAI),  to discuss and collaborate on the development of advanced pharmacy training program in Indonesia. The three initial areas of specialty are: 

1. Community Pharmacy
2. Cosmetics 
3. Pharmaceutical Logistics and Distribution

The meeting reached a consensus on establishing three certification levels for program participants: Assistant Fellow, Associate Fellow, and Fellow. The full training duration will span approximately 3–4 years. Further collaboration will be undertaken to finalize the detailed curriculum soon. Additionally,  Coursera platform will be utilized as learning platform and high quality content in coursera will be  incorporate in the training courses. Both parties also committed to accelerating the implementation of the FAPA CP training program in Indonesia, with monthly follow-up meetings to monitor progress. Furthermore, collaboration with Founder Fellows of FAPA CP Indonesia will focus on developing Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) and specialized training courses.

 SEOUL, November 2, 2024 - The Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA) held a strategic meeting . FAPA CP President Dr. Rungpetch Sakulbumrungsil convened with FAPA President, Professor Yolanda Robles, and the FAPA Secretary General, Ms.Christine Ching Benosa, to discuss key initiatives for the organization's Community Pharmacy section.

The high-level meeting focused on charting the future direction of FAPA CP and developing comprehensive strategies to establish new chapters across FAPA member nations. The executive committee members of FAPA CP were also present for these strategic discussions.

This expansion initiative aims to strengthen the pharmacy professional development network throughout the Asian region under the FAPA umbrella. The meeting marks a significant step toward enhancing pharmaceutical services across member countries.

 SEOUL, November 1, 2024, In a prestigious ceremony held during the 30th FAPA Congress in Seoul, Korea, the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations College of Pharmacy (FAPA CP) awarded its highest distinction to five exceptional leaders in pharmacy practice, naming them Honorary Fellows of the FAPA College of Pharmacy (Hon. F.A.C.P.) for the year 2024. The Honorary Fellows are:

SEOUL, November 1, 2024 - The Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations College of Pharmacy (FAPA CP) marked a significant milestone during its 2024 Graduation and Forum, held on November 1st at the 30th FAPA Congress in Seoul, Korea. The ceremony celebrated the induction of new prestigious Fellows of FAPA College of Pharmacy (F.A.C.P.).

This year's induction was particularly notable for the substantial contributions from Indonesia and Thailand. The Indonesia Chapter was at the forefront, contributing 35 Founder Fellows, while Thailand added 21 new Fellows, significantly enriching the College’s expanding network.

The special talks spotlighted existing advanced training frameworks in Korea and Thailand while examining developmental roadmaps for Indonesia and the Philippines.

With established programs in Korea and Thailand serving as benchmarks, the discussions provided valuable insights for countries working to enhance their advanced training systems.

Of particular interest were the presentations on proposed roadmaps for Indonesia and the Philippines, outlining these nations' strategies to strengthen their pharmaceutical education frameworks.

This establishment ceremony marks a significant milestone in the development of advanced pharmacy training in Indonesia and strengthens the professional network of pharmacists across Asia. The Indonesia Chapter joins the growing FAPA CP community, which aims to advance pharmacy training throughout Asian region.

The Founder Fellows of the Indonesia Chapter gathered in Seoul to celebrate this momentous occasion, signaling a new era of collaborative opportunities and professional growth in Asian pharmacy. This expansion is a strategic step toward realizing FAPA CP's vision of a unified, highly skilled pharmaceutical profession across Asia.

  On April 20, 2024, FAPA-CP organized a forum to present certificates to four colleges under the Pharmacy Council of Thailand. This noteworthy event took place during the 2024 Annual General Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage. The primary aim of this ceremony was to officially recognize that the Fellowship Training Program offered by these four colleges meet the standards equivalent to The Fellowship of FAPA CP (FACP). Graduates from these programs are acknowledged as qualified candidates for FACP. With the addition of these four colleges, a total of six colleges under the Pharmacy Council are now certified.

The six colleges with their training programs certified as equivalent to The Fellowship of FAPA CP (FACP) include:

1. The College of Pharmacotherapy of Thailand
2. The College of Pharmaceutical and Health Consumer Protection of Thailand
3. The College of Herbal Pharmacy of Thailand
4. The College of Industrial Pharmacy of Thailand
5. The College of Community Pharmacy of Thailand
6. The College of Pharmacy Administration of Thailand

Officially registered in Thailand on January 26, 2024, this groundbreaking entity is dedicated to specialized training for pharmacists, meeting the surging demand for advanced pharmacy education in Asian countries.

The FAPA CP Foundation represents a transformative leap towards a secure and prosperous future in specialized pharmacy training. Positioned as a key player, FAPA CP's unwavering commitment to excellence is poised to reshape the entire landscape of pharmacist training across the region.

The FAPA-CP Commencement Ceremony took place at the 29th FAPA Congress in Taipei, Taiwan on October 27, 2023. Five fellowships attended the commencement ceremony. In total, thirteen fellowships graduated in 2023.
